Now he no longer works at Ubisoft.

"Today is my last day at Ubisoft Montreal," said McDevitt in a tweet. "After a decade of working with brilliant people, creating stories and characters for an incredible series, and interacting with our wonderful fans, I've decided to start a new adventure." Darby McDevitt was instrumental in the decision to turn the action game series into an RPG series. What he will do next is not known. He thanks the fans for the great time at Ubisoft:
