Dont Forget Me: Jazz-punk adventure with an unusual puzzle character appears on Steam

Dont Forget Me

In 2018 there was a record with around 9,000 new game releases on the Steam platform, in 2020 the number of releases - DLCs excluded! - even shot over 10,000 (according to SteamSpy). With such a staggering number of new games coming up, it's almost impossible to have every little indie gem on your screen. But don't worry, we try as always to keep you up to date with the most exciting releases.

Fans of particularly unusual and creative indie games, such as the interactive film hybrid "Her Story", which is directed by Sam Barlow was released in 2015, or the visually immersive cyberpunk experience The Red Strings Club should take a closer look at the jazz-punk adventure Don't Forget Me. The French development team The Moon Pirates calls the games listed as clear inspiration for the unusual puzzle adventure in a chic retro cyberpunk look.

In Don't Forget Me we take on the role of Fran, who suffers from amnesia and "wakes up from a mind-consuming daydream on the doorstep of the world's leading experts in memory manipulation" - sounds a bit confusing, but the premise and the puzzle design are correct exciting! Fran dives into the memories of her patients to unravel their minds, gradually uncover a major conspiracy and prevent the enslavement of humanity.

In Don't Forget Me, the development team combines classic adventure gameplay with a modern puzzle system . Detective work is required here: if you want to get to the bottom of the hidden secrets of the plot, you have to draw the right conclusions from the many pasts of Fran's patients. Empathy is just as important as a good sense of logic and a good power of observation. In addition, you can look forward to various morally difficult decisions that influence the course of the plot and put your own moral concept to the test.

The cyberpunk world - the current trend towards gloomy visions of the future continues - should be original Come up with ideas, interesting characters and lots of charm. Especially the unusual soundtrack, a mixture of jazz pieces and synthwave music, should provide a unique feel.

Don't Forget Me will be released on Steam on April 20th.

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Want to bring some extra love into your home? Well this may be a great opportunity!

PAWS Chicago said while thousands of dogs and cats have found homes through their virtual adoption process, numerous adult pets have been passed over for puppies and kittens, causing them to stay in the shelter much longer. Many of these pets are searching for an extra special adopter or foster who has the room in their home and heart to welcome an overlooked animal into their family and allow them to blossom.

Therefore, PAWS Chicago will waive adoption fees for select adult dogs and cats Friday, April 16 through Saturday, April 24.

The shelter said some pets available for adoption may have medical needs or require a large backyard for extra playtime. While others are searching for a home with no children or may be fearful and need a little extra time warming up to strangers. Although there may be extra effort involved in adopting one of these sweet friends, the rewards that come will be all the greater once they flourish thanks to your love.
