Call of Duty 2021 is not in top form for an insider

The next Call of Duty is still far from being revealed but in the words of insider Tom Henderson it doesn't really look like the state of the art. The next game in the popular shooter series in fact at the moment the title is considered a real "disaster" by Henderson, who tried to explain the reasons without going into the details of the situation, however, promising more information over the next few weeks.

Of the new Call of Duty only unofficial details are known, such as the setting. According to Henderson's words, however, the game would be in a pitiful state at the moment. Sledgehammer Games, the software house at the helm of this new entry in the franchise, would simply be closing its eyes to all this, working only on patches / updates to fix everything once the title is in the hands of all players. The reasons for this disaster? Henderson has pointed the finger above all against the coronavirus pandemic that has rocked the entire entertainment industry.

Unlike other titles, the next Call of Duty is developed almost completely from home. This, according to Henderson, has made the developers completely empty, passionless and much more lazy than in the past. The result would therefore be a technically poorly made game. Obviously we are talking about unconfirmed statements and which we invite you to take with a grain of salt, considering however that there are several months to go until the title comes out.

There is still a lot of mystery about the next Call of Duty, especially about the contents. The only certainty, at least for now, concerns Warzone: Activision's home battle royale will still be supported and included in the next iteration produced by Sledgehammer Games. Therefore, all that remains is to wait for the official announcement of the title, which could arrive as usual for the series by the month of May.
