It starts with Batman and Batman - The Return, the two cult films directly from Tim Burton in 1989 and 1992.

It is 1989 when the visionary and gothic director Tim Burton takes BATMAN to the cinema, which sees Michael Keaton wearing the role of Bruce Wayne, as well as the cape of the Bat Man. We also find Kim Basinger in the role of Vicki Vale and Jack Nicholson in the colorful ones of Joker. Three years later, in 1992, the duo Burton - Keaton returns to the cinema with BATMAN - THE RETURN, in which the hero of DC Comics deals with the splendid Catwoman played by Michelle Pfeiffer and the terrible Penguin in the guise of Danny DeVito.

We continue with Batman Forever (1995) and Batman & Robin (1997), the two disputed films signed by the visionary Joel Schumacher.

The adventures of Batman continue in 1995 with BATMAN FOREVER, which sees Joel Schumacher as director and in the cast Val Kilmer as Batman, Nicole Kidman as Doctor Chase Meridian, Jim Carrey as the Riddler, Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face and Chris O'Donnell as Robin. In 1997 Joel Schumacher still signs BATMAN & ROBIN, but this time the role of the hero is entrusted to George Clooney, flanked by Chris O'Donnell's Robin. As villain instead we find Uma Thurman called to interpret the role of Poison Ivy and Arnold Schwarzenegger that of Mr. Freeze.

2005 marks the reboot of the film franchise with the advent of Christopher Nolan with his seminal trilogy consisting of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight (unanimously considered the best cinecomics ever) and The Dark Knight Rises.
