Disney + Star: all available content

Disney + Star: all available content
On February 23, one month after its first birthday in EU, Disney + raises the stakes in the game of streaming entertainment with the addition of a sixth thematic area (the five existing are Disney, Pixar, Marvel, National Geographic and Star Wars). The new brand will be called Star and promises to double the content already present on the platform, bringing films, series and programs from different Disney creative studios, such as Searchlight, Touchstone, Freeform, 20th Television, ABC Signature, FX Productions and 20th Century. Studios.

The content of this new thematic area is intended to cover the biggest weakness of the Disney + platform, now evident after almost a year of life: more adult content, not suitable for the “family” segment. The introduction of these contents is in fact accompanied by the introduction of the Parental control function, which will allow you to separate and control the use of contents for parents from those of the rest of the family. It is not yet clear, but there are unofficial rumors to that effect, whether the introduction of this feature will also allow content currently "indexed" in other areas to be brought to the platform, such as Deadpool, Logan and Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the Marvel section.
