WWE: Shawn Michaels on the future of NXT and the launch of NXT Europe

In view of NXT Vengeance Day , the new special event of the third WWE brand, we participated in an international conference call with Shawn Michaels . The Hall of Famer, who has been NXT's longtime creative supervisor, spoke very clearly about the current status of the brand, what can be expected in the future and the long-awaited launch of NXT Europe.
Interview with Shawn Michaels: “With Vengeance Day we're finally back on the road”
The conference call opened with a question regarding the future of NXT on the road: tonight's event will in fact be the first event in a long time to be broadcast outside the Orlando Performance Center.We are all excited to be back on the road after such a long time. Outside of Stand & Deliver, Vengeance Day will be the first major NXT event in three years that we do outside of the Performance Center. They are all new kids performing for the first time and obviously feeling the pressure of the big event, but everyone's enthusiasm is through the roof. To date, over 5,000 tickets have been sold, but we expect to sell out.
The NXT Vengeance Day main event will see defending champion Bron Breakker defend his title from the onslaught of Australian Grayson Waller inside a steel cage. Defined by many as the future of WWE, Shawn had words of praise for him.
Grayson has been on my radar for some time. He will again have a title shot in the main event of a show, this time inside a cage, but it all depends on him. I think he's a very talented guy with great potential. He knows that too and that's why he has a perceived arrogant attitude, but I understand that. I had taken Grayson and Carmelo under my wing, brought them to 205 Live and then I wanted them in the new management of NXT. But there are tons of other guys who are demonstrating their talent like Bron himself, Tony D or the Creed Brothers. The future is very rosy.
Among the potential "showstealers" of the evening there is the awaited 2 out of 3 falls match between Apollo Crews and Carmelo Hayes, now in rivalry for months to establish who really is the best in NXT.
Perhaps one of the richest cards we have ever presented so far. The match I look forward to the most is the 2 out of 3 falls between Apollo Crews and Carmelo Hayes. Two completely different athletes but with unnatural athletic skills. I'm sure they will put on a great show.
Obviously, the call could not be concluded without a question about the future of NXT Europe, the new brand that it will replace NXT UK.
At the moment I can't say much yet, but I assure you that the infrastructure has started. We are looking for arenas, arenas and potential dates to better organize everything. NXT Europe is a project that both Hunter and I hold dear, and we don't want to rush the process. There will certainly be some definite updates in the coming months.
