While in case of sale of the property, following the purchase of the new air conditioners and before the expenses are deducted, the old owner can decide to keep or transfer the bonus within the purchase deeds, which will be valid as an invoice to be presented in the tax return. This option is not valid if you access the facility through the furniture bonus.

How to use the home bonus and the furniture bonus to receive 50% discount on air conditioners The home bonus provides for the recovery of 50% of the expenditure incurred in 10 years, with a spending limit of 96 thousand euros. Only in this case, the deduction can either be transferred or requested as a discount on the invoice, as well as in the tax return. The deadline for claiming the bonus is December 2024. This bonus is valid only for the purchase of air conditioners that allow you to achieve energy savings for the home, certified by the manufacturer or installer. While the system does not need to be enabled for heating as well. To obtain it, it is necessary to pay by speaking transfer, which shows the tax codes of those who use the bonus, the VAT number of those who sold or installed the air conditioner, the reference to the purchase invoice and to the legislation. Furthermore, the communication of the installation must be sent to Enea within 90 days, in an exclusively digital format.

The furniture bonus, on the other hand, allows you to recover 50% of the expenses incurred in 10 years, with a spending limit of 10 thousand euros for 2022 and 5 thousand for 2023 and 2024. In this case, the benefit can only be deducted in the tax return and is valid only in the context of an extraordinary renovation of the property. To apply, it is necessary that the work start date is prior to the purchase of the air conditioners and that the renovation refers to the previous year or to the one in progress with respect to when you intend to use the furniture bonus. In this case it is not necessary to pay by speaking transfer, but it is necessary to use traceable means of payment and to have an invoice or receipt with the tax code of the person who incurred the shopping. Cash payments are not valid.

How to use the eco-bonus to receive a 65% discount on air conditioners In this case, we refer to the increased eco-bonus, expiring in December 2024, with which to recover the 65% of expenses incurred in 10 years, with a maximum spending limit of € 46,154. The subsidy may be requested to purchase heat pump air conditioners that allow you to achieve energy savings for the home, certified by the manufacturer or installer. Also in this case, it is necessary to pay by speaking transfer and it will be possible to obtain the relief only in the tax return.

To apply, it will be necessary to upload the certification of a qualified technician on the Enea website, the information sheet of the interventions carried out with the amount of the expenses incurred, the energy savings obtained, the personal and cadastral data of the person requesting the deduction.

How to use the 110% superbonus to deduct the costs for air conditioners If done in the context of one of the building interventions that allow an improvement of 2 energy classes of the building, the installation of the air conditioners from scratch or the replacement of the existing ones can be deducted through the super bonus at 110%. The only fundamental requirement is to install the air conditioners in the time frame in which the intervention takes place, which entitles you to the super bonus.
