Who is the strongest character in Dragon Ball? Akira Toriyama reveals it

More precisely, when he was asked what was his goal in wanting to introduce Gohan, Piccolo and the army of the Red Ribbon in the new animated feature film (the first two characters will be the protagonists ), declared:

Indeed Gohan is the strongest of all, it is said, and recently he hasn't gotten many chances to be talked about. To motivate himself, Gohan relied on his beloved teacher Piccolo rather than his father Goku. So I thought I had to give birth to a new superhero by putting the spotlight on Gohan and Piccolo through their battle against the Gamma androids.

The Red Ribbon Army was destroyed by Goku. Some people, however, who keep the spirit alive, have created the perfect Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. The two Androids are called "Super Heroes" and will launch themselves at the attack of Piccolo and Gohan ... what is the goal of the new Army of the Red Ribbon? At the dawn of a new danger, it's time to awaken Super Hero!

What we know about Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero

21st animated film and second to join the Dragon Ball Super era with story, character design and dialogue from Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will be placed temporally immediately after the events of the battle against Broly faced in Dragon Ball Super: Broly (first animated film to join the Dragon Ball Super franchise).

The project will boast CGI components, largely departing from previous cinematographic experiences. Even Toriyama-sensei himself in the announcement comment had anticipated that the new animated film would have explored territories never seen before in terms of artistic aesthetics.

Regarding the character design, Toriyama has created the unpublished Androids Gamma # 1 and Gamma # 2, two new androids from the Red Ribbon army. At Jump Festa 2022 it was announced that the former will be played by Hiroshi Kamiya (Trafalgar Law, Levi Ackermnn), while the latter by Mamoru Miyano (Light Yagami). The rest of the known cast, for example Masako Nozawa (Goku, Gohan, Goten) and Toshio Furukawa (Piccolo), will return to play their respective characters.

The plans for the new Dragon Ball Super movie have begun in 2018, even before the release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly (released in 2018 in Japan; in 2019 in Italy), and will aim to tell a story full of spectacular fights capable of responding to the enthusiasm generated by success of the previous one.
