Revolution at home Call of Duty! A subscription service is coming

Before seeing it in action on the Nintendo Switch, the Call of Duty franchise will undergo some severe changes from Infinity Ward. To reveal it is the insider RalphsValve, who has always been very close to Activision environments, in particular those dedicated to the saga created by Vince Zampella.

According to what the insider reported, Infinity Ward would be considering several changes regarding the Call of Duty franchise. It would be, at least in his words, a complete rebrand of the game, with lots of new features that could upset the formula of the game as we know it today. It starts with a mobile application, which is currently in the early stages of studies, up to a complete restyling of the store that adds in-game elements. The biggest change, however, would be a subscription service, the first of the series.

It is not the first time that a subscription service has been launched for Call of Duty. In fact, at the launch of Black Ops 2, Activision integrated an application called Elite. Success never came and the publisher therefore decided to pull the plug on the project, which could now be restored, probably making it more similar to other services already present in the world of video games. According to other rumors, the new subscription service would guarantee a Battle Pass for 6 or 12 months, both for the main games of the series and for Warzone, even if at the moment we are still in the field of rumors and hypotheses.

Infinity Ward plans to facilitate, and entirely rework, Call of Duty's UI / UX System's;
