Nintendo Direct of February 2022 announced: date and time of the new event

Nintendo Direct of February 2022 announced

A new Nintendo Direct has been announced just in these minutes by the Kyoto company, following rather precisely what the rumors have been in these days: the new presentation event on Nintendo Switch games is set for tomorrow, February 9, 2022, at 11 pm : 00 Italian.

There has been talk of a possible Nintendo Direct coming for a few days and finally confirmation has arrived from Nintendo itself, with the event set for tomorrow, February 9, 2022, in a presentation which will last around 40 minutes and will focus on Nintendo Switch games due out in the first half of 2022.

The possibilities are many, of course, but we can expect the presentation of already confirmed games such as Triangle Strategy, Chocobo GP, Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp, Kirby and the Lost Land also possible surprises and news , given that there is still talk of titles arriving from now until the summer, so there may also be room for several games not yet announced.

Considering the time period taken into consideration for the games that will be covered, i.e. the first half of 2022, it is less likely that there is also room for the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 , but it is not said that this however is not present within the event, perhaps with further updates provided that it is not really expected to arrive by the summer. Among the other special surveillance there is also Bayonetta 3, also scheduled for 2022 still without a precise period but which could find space in the special on the games coming in the first half of the year, we'll see.

Obviously we will follow the event live with translation and commentary in real time, so stay tuned to sportsgaming.win for full coverage of the new Nintendo Direct, on our Twitch channel tomorrow night at 11pm or earlier.

Nintendo Direct Coming Tomorrow

A Nintendo Direct is coming tomorrow, Wednesday, February 9.

Announced on Twitter, the show will last for around 40 minutes, focusing on Switch games launching in the 'first half of 2022'.

The Direct will air at 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern / 10pm UK (that's February 10 at 9am AEDT).

This marks the first Nintendo Direct of the year, and the first Direct focused on multiple games since last September, which saw the announcement of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, the Nintendo Switch Online expansion pass, and more.

In October, we also got broadcasts to announce Sora coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and an Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct showing off the DLC and last update. In December, we also got an Indie World broadcast.

It's not clear what the broadcast will bring, but here's what we expect from Nintendo in 2022.
