The new edition of the tournament is getting ready to start and today the first details regarding the stages and the format that will involve all the players of the Assetto simulator have been released Corsa, developed by the Italians of Kunos Simulations. Porsche Cars North America will host the first-ever ‘Sportscar Together Festival’ at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sept. 10-12, featuring Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by The Cayman Islands.

The three-day event will combine a “celebration of car culture” and Porsche sports cars “in all their forms” with interactive displays of Porsche cars from the past, present and future, including new models making their public debuts.

In addition to hosting Rounds 11 and 12 of the new-for-2021 Carrera Cup North America, the USAC-sanctioned Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama and Porsche Club of America Clubsport racing events will also be on the weekend bill.

PCA will have themed car displays and concours events as well.

It will mark the first event of its kind that will bring together all three Porsche single-make series.

“Car culture is a sense of family, of warmth and of shared passions and dreams – and this is at the core of the Sportscar Together Festival,” said Kjell Gruner, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America.

“It’ll be a living, breathing and exhilarating celebration of not just cars created by Porsche, but of car culture itself – for all ages.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone who shares this passion – whether they’re a Porsche owner or not – to a unique weekend of action, on and off the track.”

The event, announced on Friday, conflicts with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, which was rescheduled from its original date in April due to COVID-19.

Carrera Cup has also yet to replace its planned round at Toronto Indy, which was initially scheduled for July.
