F1 2021

F1 2021, a sequence of race. The famous Codemasters series returns with F1 2021 (PS5 and PS4, € 69.99), the first episode published after the acquisition of the development team by Electronic Arts. Many innovations introduced for the occasion, both on the gameplay front with a general refinement of the mechanics and the driving model, and above all on the front of the structure thanks to the new modes.

Among these, the career stands out in particular Braking Point narrative, which, inspired by the documentary Drive to Survive, puts us in the shoes of a young and ambitious driver, who begins his climb from the small categories to then land in Formula One and aim for new contracts, a position of respect in the standings and maybe the title of world champion.

In case you want to find out how it is, this is the F1 2021 review.

Observer System Redux

Observer System Redux, one of the game's settings. Putting aside the features designed specifically for next-gen platforms, Observer System Redux (PS4, € 29.99) also arrives on the former Sony flagship, involving us in the dramatic adventure of Daniel Lazarski, a neural detective with skills that allow him to connect to the systems of the victims of a crime and relive their last moments: an Observer.

Voiced by the late Rutger Hauer, the protagonist of the game finds himself dealing with a case connected to the mysterious disappearance of his son. By interacting with different characters and analyzing crime scenes in search of evidence and clues, we will have to find out what happened and who is the lethal killer who is reaping his victims in the slums of Krakow in 2084.

AKIBA'S TRIP: Hellbound & Debriefed

AKIBA'S TRIP: Hellbound & Debriefed, the characters involved in a fight. Made on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the franchise, AKIBA'S TRIP: Hellbound & Debriefed (PS4, € 39.99) is the remaster of a game originally released in 2014, in which our goal is to identify and eliminate dangerous vampires that lurk among the population of Tokyo and in particular hang out in the electronic district of Akihabara.

In the role of a boy transformed into a creature of the night, we will have to put our skills at the service of a mysterious agency that deals to stem the advance of the forces of evil. We will therefore find ourselves fighting against various adversaries, also and above all female ones, "stripping" them of their clothes and leaving them in lingerie to suffer our attacks.

A particular game, but not very successful, as you will discover in the our review of AKIBA'S TRIP: Hellbound & Debriefed.

Arcadegeddon

First PlayStation 5 title to support AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology, Arcadegeddon (PS5, € 19.99) is a third multiplayer based person shooter featuring a mix of PvP and PvE mechanics open to a team of four players. The main objective of the experience developed by Illfonic? To have fun.

As in a battle royale, you find yourself projected onto the map without any equipment, to be recovered quickly within the scenario. The weapons are original and fun to use, combined with the cartoonish style used for the design of the characters, extensively modifiable thanks to over seven hundred objects.

More games coming out

Sniper Elite VR , the protagonist prepares to shoot. Sniper Elite VR (PS4, € 29.99) is the first virtual reality episode for the famous precision shooter developed by Rebellion. Against the backdrop of southern Italy in 1943, we will have to face the Nazi troops wearing the PlayStation VR headset and hitting our long shots trying to take out the enemy soldiers.
