Apex Legends, after Valkyrie what would we want from the Titanfall 2 universe?

Apex Legends

Last April Electronic Arts announced with great fanfare the arrival of new content for Apex Legends related to the Titanfall universe. A necessary move, for a title that not only owes its origins to the series with Respawn robots, but also shares the same narrative universe. Apex, after all, is a natural evolution of the Titanfall brand and, while not sharing its name, the whole backbone of the gunplay and movements has its roots in a not so distant past. Precisely for this reason, being able to finally see the two works intertwined directly makes us happy, but also makes us hope for a future in which the two productions can somehow continue to share functionality and ideas. Valkyrie, which we have talked about extensively over the past few weeks, was therefore only the tip of the iceberg and, with the continued growth of the title, the addition of new modes such as the Arenas and the arrival of increasingly original fighters, we started sailing with the imagination imagining what we would like to see on the battlefields starting from next season that we already know will bring with it new ranked, a new game mode similar to Dominion, a light machine gun and Seer, the new legend. br>

More characters from Titanfall

Valkyrie, as you well know, is the daughter of Viper, pilot of Titanfall 2, and her entry into Apex has redesigned the mobility in the game. The integration of this new character, with his armor built from Northstar wreckage, has been so fluid that imagining the arrival of other protagonists or characters connected to this universe comes surprisingly natural.

For example, we can easily hypothesize the arrival of Ash, already inserted with a small easter egg in Season 5, but never officially presented as a new Legend. Sure, we already have Pathfinder as a cybernetic creature, but Ash has an incredibly stronger background. She is a merciless Apex Predator, determined and determined to destroy her targets at any cost. His story is studded with insane missions and mass killings, all adorned with a cool but not without honor.

As a Legend in Apex, Ash could make use of the abilities seen on Titanfall, obviously scaled down for foot combat. Her ability to convert technology in her favor could make her a perfect character to capture and use Crypto's scout drones for him or, why not, take possession of Rampart's turret or Lifeline's healing drones.

Ash would look good in games! If Ash has become the one who is part of the "credit" it also goes to another well-known face of Apex Games: Kuben Blisk. The leader of the Apex Predators and creator of the Apex Games is another one of those characters with insane charisma and absolute importance that we would love to see among the available Legends. Respawn has in his hands a ruthless killer, a mercenary of yesteryear and it would be easy to characterize him in combat by giving him the ability to quickly reach close combat, shattering armor and opponents with a few hits.

And then, to conclude the triptych, we would like him so much: Bravo-Tango-Seven-Two-Seven-Four, also called BT. He was our companion for the second chapter of Titanfall, but he is not a simple robot or an automated war machine, but rather an artificial intelligence to be trusted, able to watch your back and protect you in times of need. Jack Cooper was the hero of the day, the protagonist in the spotlight, but BT was able several times to steal the show by becoming the soul of Titanfall 2. Not being able to arrive with the size and size of a titan in the Apex Games we he would like his artificial intelligence to be transferred to a human-sized automaton, a possible situation given the storage of his data in SERE kits, emergency tools available to pilots. The programming to protect the pilots could be revised with the possibility of mitigating or sharing the damage of the companions or to allow the automatic detection of the enemies through the neural networks.

Weapons and titans

BT, one of us Closed the parenthesis on the characters that we would like to be able to impersonate we open another one instead on one thing that always makes Apex players discuss: the Titans. We know very well that introducing the Titans on Apex would be impossible, at least in the Battle Royale mode: the gameplay is super dynamic and the maps were neither designed nor designed to be able to enter a Titan and rain fire on enemies, but a way to pay homage the real strength of Titanfall must be there. Considering the opening of the arenas and the short arrival of the domain mode, we would not mind moving the Titans in parallel modes, even if this would mean distorting or diminishing the Legends present up to now.

If it is true, as emerged in recent days, that support for Titanfall 2 is reduced to the bone as regards the staff then, waiting for a new chapter, we would like to be able to have fun with the thousands of players of Apex taking advantage of this possible addition. We would even be willing to turn a blind eye and settle for a Titans-only mode, which has never driven us completely crazy, as long as everything is interconnected with our Apex account in terms of accumulated experience, stats and ecosystem.

What do you think? Would you like to see new crossovers with Titanfall in Apex or do we fantasize too much? Let's chat about it in the comments.
