Koch Media Prime Time and IGN Expo: all the most interesting announcements

Koch Media Prime Time and IGN Expo

In anticipation of the major events of E3, starting today 12 June, we have already been able to attend certain digital conferences such as Guerrilla Collective and Indie Live Expo (to name a few). Well, some announcements did not make us cry a miracle, others did not particularly attract our interest, while some even thrilled us.

Last night it was the turn of Koch Media Prime Time and IGN Expo, held respectively at 21:00 and 22:00 Italian. Below you will find the summary of the most interesting announcements.

Koch Media Prime Time

The Koch Media Prime Time conference was not particularly rich in content, indeed, we can say that we have seen very little. Suffice it to say that we were able to see the first trailer after a good twenty-three minutes precisely, however even the latter has vanished like sand in the wind. One of the biggest problems is believing that you can entertain the viewer with interviews and conversations of various kinds. It is a predominantly right facet, but which should be dosed in a rational way so as to give space to what really matters, namely the contents. Anyway, these are the announced games:

Codename Final Form

The curtain has opened (finally, we would add) on a seemingly interesting game. The protagonist is a cyborg with specific abilities, with a gameplay that is shaped around a classic shooter. The contents shown, however, were very few. This is a game still under development, so we don't know the release date yet. We will update you as soon as we have more information about it, but in the meantime we inform you that Codename Final Form will be released for console and PC.

Watch on YouTube. Dolmen

The second trailer threw us directly into a gloomy setting, full of cosmic horrors with a purely sci-fi essence. During the event we could not help but notice a Doom soundtrack, very welcome. All this surrounded by the presence of disturbing enemies that are not very reassuring, in an action RPG with a horror component. We haven't seen any gameplay yet, unfortunately, but we know the title will be released later this year.

Watch on YouTube. King's Bounty II

The third trailer alternates the beautiful shades of nature and typically medieval landscapes with a terrifying world threatened by magic, a thirst for power and monsters of all kinds. Living and furious skeletons are ready to fire lethal arrows as hideous monsters open their jaws to tear apart anyone who comes within range. In short, the conditions are rather full of darkness, but we do not yet know how all this can be shaped around the gameplay. The game, however, will be available from August 24, 2021 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Watch on YouTube. Scars Above

The most interesting content features a mysterious woman in a world threatened by monstrous entities. The interface, as well as the setting itself, reminded us a lot of Death Stranding. Apparently it will be possible to take advantage of a crafting system, and the arsenal will visibly consist of several tools unknown to us, for now. The protagonist will be able to slash but also kill monsters with truly lethal and spectacular weapons. Life and stamina will mark the game experience, but we await more details on this.

A sci-fi RPG will throw you into a game in which it will be essential to choose the right strategy. You can buy it starting this fall on Steam and GOG.

Watch on YouTube. Payday 3

To conclude this event, alas, rather skimpy was Payday 3. Starbreeze Studios is in fact working on the third chapter, consequently we have not been able to see much content.

Watch on YouTube . Painkiller, The Chant, Echoes of the End and the arrival of Kingdom Come Deliverance on Nintendo Switch were also announced during the course of the event.

IGN
