E3 2021: the best games and moments voted by you

E3 2021

We asked you to select the best games and moments of this strange all-digital E3 2021 and here are the results!

Best action game

Games for several years now action dominate the market and inevitably even during the varied kermesse of this E3 the amount of action games shown was superior to all other genres.

In any case, a video game that stands out among all in the results of the Our poll is undoubtedly Elden Ring: From Software's next souls-like written by George RR Martin, which got over 51% of the vote. In second place, with several votes discarded (28% of the votes) we find Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, but also Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora developed by Ubisoft impressed you, earning the third place in the ranking.

Best shooter

Shooters, between periods of ups and downs, however, always remain an evergreen among the most played genres. Certainly the return of a beloved and fascinating series like that of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. could not go unnoticed and the second chapter has in fact collected over 46% of your preferences.

Halo: Infinite, after last year's semi-flop, managed to win back your hearts, earning the second place with over 39% of preferences. A love that has distant roots in the history of the medium and that finally returns to blossom after a long absence.

A different speech for Battlefiled 2042 which, although it did not wait too long, still managed to renew itself to the point of convincing over 18% of you readers, thus obtaining the third place on the podium.

Best role-playing game

Even role-playing games, lately, go through alternating periods of ups and downs and during this E3 their numerical scarcity has been quite evident. It was therefore taken for granted that over 80% of you chose to elect Starfield, of which we finally caught a glimpse, as the best role-playing game shown at E3 2021.

The Outer Worlds 2 and Shin Megami Tensei V occupy instead the second and third place much lower in the standings, with less than 10% of the votes each.

Best adventure

Even the adventures this year didn't have many exponents, but in this case your votes were more heterogeneous. To win the first place was Life is Strange: True Colors with over 45% of the votes, in second place Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water with over 32% of the preferences and finally Wizard with a Gun, chosen by 16% of you readers.

Best Platform

In forms that are often very different from each other, platformers are forcefully making a comeback and the competition this year at E3 was fierce. Psychonauts 2, which we have been waiting for too long, has managed to conquer over 54% of you, earning the winner's cup. Followed at a distance by a tied couple: Replaced and Metroid Dread.

Best strategy-management

Few stories: this year at E3 the new chapter of a series was shown that has made the history of videogame strategy. We are talking about Age of Empires IV, which inevitably received 55% of your preferences.

However, the new (and already beloved) game Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope developed by Ubisoft Milan, which with over 35% of the votes honorably earns second place alongside the historic brand . However, the novelty Metal Slug Tactics still manages to carve out a space in third place.

Best sportsman

Probably due to the absence of EA, this year sportsmen (racing games included) they were really very scarce, so much so that it is impossible to build us under a podium. And it is therefore inviting that Forza Horizon 5 practically triumphed with a blebiscite.

Best moment / conference

Although the E3 this year was fragmented, the conferences were certainly not lacking, but among all the unquestionably triumphed (with almost 83% of the votes) the Microsoft + Bethesda conference, which demonstrated the great strength of the company and all the good intentions for a next gen that starts off on the right foot for the American manufacturer.

The Ubisoft Forward and Nintendo Direct instead had to settle for the crumbs left, struggling to take second and third place respectively in the standings.

Too bad for all the great absentees of this E3 2021, who certainly with their silence have contributed to lower the general quality bar of the conferences.
