From 2 November it will be possible to access the new eco-bonus for the purchase of non-polluting cars. On that very day, from 10 in the morning, the Ministry of Economic Development (Mise) will make the booking of incentives useful to buy vehicles with carbon dioxide emissions up to 60 grams per kilometer accessible through its platform, as established by the Presidency's decree. of the Council of Ministers (Dpcm) adopted by the government on the proposal of the Mise owner Giancarlo Giorgetti.

A few days after the reopening of the eco-bonus window dedicated to the purchase of electric motorcycles and scooters, the government field another measure in support of families and preparatory to the ecological transition.

"With the launch of this measure - explains Minister Giorgetti - the industrial plan started at the beginning of my mandate to accompany the supply chain becomes concrete and citizens towards the green transition, focusing on a pragmatic approach that takes into account not only the economic and environmental effects but also the social ones ".

The news for individuals

The main changes concern citizens who have received an income not exceeding 30 thousand euros. Those who fall into this bracket, for 2022, will be able to benefit from a 50% increase in the contributions foreseen so far on the basis of the resources already allocated to buy M1 vehicles, electric cars and plug-in hybrids.

In in particular, it will be possible to access contributions up to a maximum of 7,500 euros with scrapping for those who want to buy new vehicles with emissions between 0 and 20 grams per kilometer with an official list price not exceeding 35 thousand euros excluding VAT. Without scrapping, this contribution would drop to € 4,500.

As regards cars with emissions in the range between 21 and 60 grams per kilometer, with a cost equal to or less than € 45,000 excluding VAT, the maximum contribution is expected to be € 6,000 with scrapping, € 3,000 without.

News for businesses

Companies will also be able to access the eco-bonus, as long as they carry out car rental activities for commercial purposes other than car sharing and maintain the ownership of the vehicles for at least twelve months.

The contributions provided in this case are of a maximum of 2,500 euros with scrapping, which go down to 1,500 without, for the purchase of new vehicles that fall within the range emissions between 0 and 20 grams per kilometer and which cost no more than 35 thousand euros excluding VAT.

It will be equal to a maximum of 2,000 euros with scrapping and a maximum of 1,000 without, however, the contribution intended for legal entities that intend buy a new car belonging to the emissions range between 21 and 60 grams per kilometer, with a list price not exceeding 45 thousand euros excluding VAT.
