Pokémon GO: Bergmite arrives with the Winter Holidays event next week

Pokémon GO

Niantic is preparing to celebrate Christmas in Pokémon GO with the Winter Holidays, which will take place from 10:00 on Thursday 16 December until 31 December. The event will see the debut of Bergmite, as well as Pokémon in costumes, festive items to customize the avatar, and more.

During the Winter Holidays you may encounter Pokémon in the wild and in raids with special costumes at Christmas theme, namely Pikachu wearing a Christmas party hat and the festive versions of Delibird, Stantler, Spheal, Cubchoo and Glaceon. And as usual, with a little luck you will be able to meet their chromatic versions. In general, during the new Pokémon GO event it will be easier to encounter Ice-type Pokémon, including Snorunt, Snover, Vanillite, Sandshrew of Alola, Darumaka of Galar, and Cryogonal. Bergmite will be available starting with the second phase of the event, which will start on December 23, 2021.

Pokémon GO Winter Holidays also introduce a Christmas-themed story of the Season of Tradition and the new Postcard Album feature, which allows you to share a postcard with friends every time you send a friend pack. Fighting lovers, on the other hand, will be able to participate in the Festive Cup, which involves the use of Pokémon Normal, Grass, Electric, Ice, Flying and Ghost with a maximum of 1,500 PL.

Various Pokémon will be active during the event Bonus: You will be able to open up to 45 Friendship Packs per day, Mega Abomasnow's CP number increases, and Team GO Rocket recruits will have more Water and Ice-type Pokémon. In the in-game shop from December 15th it will be possible to buy the Party Hat, Party Jacket and Party Shorts items to customize the avatar, while activating the Pokéstops and opening the friendship packs you will get some festive stickers. Special packages will also be available on offer:
