The Planet Manga has announced the forthcoming publication of the manga adaptation of the Ubisoft video game Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China, starring the famous Assassin Shao Jun.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China created by mangaka Minoji Kurata already known for the manga Kusuriya no Hitorigoto - Maomao no Koukyuu Nazotoki Techou, was published in the Japanese manga magazine seinen Monthly Sunday GX by Shogakukan. The chapters of the manga were then collected in 3 volumes and the fourth is scheduled for August 19, 2021.



Now, the first volume of the series will debut in Italy thanks to Planet Manga in September , and will be presented in the next issue of the Preview catalog.

As for the plot, the story of Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China is set in the China of 1526 ruled by the Ming dynasty. As the Chinese empire thrives, rumors of a political purge wanted by the new emperor spread and the turmoil grows. Shao Jun witnesses the massacre of her companions, until she remains the last Assassin of China.

As for the video game, Assassin's Creed Chronicles is a collection of three video games from the Assassin's Creed series, produced by the British studio Climax Studios and published by Ubisoft.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China has been the first to be released on April 21, 2015 in North America and April 22 in the rest of the world and made available for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Microsoft Windows.
