The new trailer for The Rings of Power sees Galadriel and the new reluctant heroes confronted with their fate: choosing whether to fight or again succumb to the Evil that is re-emerging again. This new extended trailer also allows us to take a new look at the majesty of the staging of the stratospheric budget series.



The Rings of Power
The Rings of Power is based on J.R.R. Tolkien, including The Silmarillion and The Appendices and is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth. It will therefore be set thousands of years before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and will begin in a period of peace due to the defeat of Morgoth, the master of Sauron. The series will chronicle the lives and exploits of an assorted cast of characters, and will explore the Misty Mountains, Lindon, the capital of the forest elves, and the shores of the kingdom of Númenor. Not only that: it will address phenomena of great importance in Tolkien's imagination and which occurred during the Second Era. These include the forging of rings, the rise of Sauron the Dark Lord, the epic story of Númenor and the Last Alliance between Elves and Men.
