Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic is available today, of course for PC. This is the original version, but with some visual improvements, of the first expansion of World of Warcraft, which obviously goes to bind to World of Warcraft Classic.

In Burning Crusade Classic, the heroes of the Horde and Alliance set out on an assault on the alien world of Draenor and tainted with vile energy, where the demonic Burning Legion has declared war on all life on Azeroth. Together with their new allies Draenei and Blood Elves, the champions of Azeroth must find a way to stop the invasion at the source; seek new allies in the fungal forests and Nether-shattered skies of a new world and prepare to face the infernal forces of the Traitor Illidan, the Night Elf Demon Hunter who has seized the shattered domain of the Outlands.

Like World of Warcraft Classic, Burning Crusade Classic is included with players' World of Warcraft membership, and provides access to the content and features of the original 2007 game, including:



The devastated kingdom of the Outland: traverse the menacing cliffs and pinnacles of the Blade's Edge Mountains, where even dragons fear to fly, hunt together with the uncorrupted Mag'har orcs among the floating islands of Nagrand, fight against the agents demons of the Burning Legion in the shadows of the Black Temple and much more. Two new playable races: Fight for the Horde with Blood Elves, creatures in search of a new source of arcane power that once gave them sustenance, or join the Alliance with the Draenei, Outland exiles in search of a new one mansion. Battle in Arenas: Team up with your most trusted allies and put your PvP skills to the test in 2v2, 3v3 or 5v5 arenas such as Ring of Trials or Circle of Blood (available June 15). Soar through the air with flying mounts: Take to the skies in the chaotic skies of Netherstorm and fly over the nefarious region of Shadowmoon Valley with the introduction of flying mounts to Outland. Master increasingly challenging raids and expeditions: Complete 5-player expeditions set in the crystalline forest of Tempest Keep and the Caverns of Time, where heroes witness the events of Azeroth's past, and take on epic raids of 10 and 25 characters. New options for heroes: Work powerful gems and embed them in character equipment with the Jewelcrafting profession, choose between the Aldor and Scryer factions in Shattrath to discover their unique rewards, create a Paladin of the Horde or a Shaman of the 'Alliance and much more.

With today's release, players can take their characters to level 70 on the realms of Burning Crusade Classic as they explore all new Outland areas beyond the Dark Portal and rally their allies to take on the raid challenges from 10 characters from Karazhan and those from 25 characters from Magtheridon's Lair and Gruul's Lair. Starting June 15, players will be able to demonstrate their PvP prowess with the start of Arena Season 1. Additional Burning Crusade Classic content will be made available in future updates.

After the start of Arena Season 1, top PvP teams will have a chance to return to the dawn of WoW esports in the Burning Crusade Classic Arena Tournament, which takes place from 23-25 ​​July. Full details of the tournament, including information on how to participate, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Players eager to dive into Outland adventures with their friends will have the opportunity to purchase the Dark Portal Pass (€ 39.99), which allows you to upgrade a character of your choice on a Burning realm to level 58 Crusade Classic (limit of one per World of Warcraft account, not usable on Blood Elf or Draenei characters). The Dark Portal Pass is also included in the optional Burning Crusade Classic Deluxe Edition (€ 64.99), which additionally provides the Reawakened Phase-Hunter mount, Dark Portal Hearthstone and Path of Illidan toy for Burning Crusade Classic, the Hunter mount Greenish phased for modern WoW and 30 days of playtime, providing access to WoW Classic, Burning Crusade Classic, and the modern game.

WoW Classic players will be able to choose whether to advance each of their characters in Burning Crusade Classic or continue playing WoW Classic content on the Era Classic realms that opened on May 18th. Players wishing to play with the same character in both games will be able to use the optional character cloning service (€ 15 per character), which will allow them to continue playing with a copy of the existing character on an Era Classic realm while also progressing in Burning Crusade Classic.
