Princia, new character from the Black Clover movie.

The animated film will travel parallel to the manga and will not adapt a particular story arc written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata, the original creator of the manga. Although the author holds the role of chief supervisor and original character designer and it is the sequel to the anime series that aired from October 2017 to March 2021, the film will in any case tell a completely original story dedicated only to the anime project.

The story will focus on a new battle of Asta, but above all on the figure of Magic Emperor, in particular on Julius's past never revealed in the manga. Among the original characters that have emerged so far, by the master Tabata, the previous much-loved Magic Emperor of the Clover Kingdom stands out, Konrad Leto , who will return with unknown intentions. This is what it looks like:

About the staff, Ayataka Tanemura (Black Clover) manages the project at the animation studio Pierrot, Itsuko Takade is the character designer and Minako Seki composes the music. The rest of the anime staff will resume their respective duties in production.

Here is the trailer released by Netflix which, in addition, reveals the theme song performed by Treasure, "Here I Stand":

As for the manga, however, the series returned to serialization in July 2022 after a break that allowed the author to prepare material for the final narrative arc now underway.
