On the occasion of the panel at Jujutsu Kaisen's Jump Festa '23, the author of the manga, Gege Akutami , revealed when the end of the manga might come.

The statement written by the author himself reveals, among other information, that the manga could continue for another year probably. Here are the words in detail:

I will continue to draw incomprehensible things, but if you could accompany me for about another year (probably), I would be really happy.



Satoru Gojo, character of Jujutsu Kaisen In 2021 the master Akutami had declared in February 2021 his idea about the ending of the manga foreseeing a conclusion, obviously probable, within two years, adding at the time that there was none, however so sure.

Jujutsu Kaisen: manga and anime

Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen: Sorcery Fight manga was published for the first time on March 5, 2018 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and then the individual chapters were collected and published in tankobon (currently 20 in Japan).

The first volume was released in Italy in October 2019 thanks to the publishing house Planet Manga and the work currently consists of 17 volumes.

The anime adaptation officially debuted in October 2020 at Studio MAPPA (Final Season of The Attack of the Giants, among others) and the first season consists of 24 total episodes. In Italy it is available entirely for viewing with subtitles through Crunchyroll and the screening dubbed into Italian began on July 26th. The sequel to the anime takes place with the animated film of Jujutus Kaisen 0 (arriving on September 21 on Crunchyroll after its release in Italian cinemas in June 2022) which adapts the events preceding the original manga again conceived by Gege Akutami. Season 2 of the anime is also in production by the animation studio MAPPA.
