The TV series to watch in October

Lots of thrills and many thrilling stories in the TV series coming to the various streaming platforms in October. From thrillers like Munich Games, The Watcher, Gangs of London and The Devil 'Hour to spooky stories like The Midnight Club and Let Me In, passing through true crime like Candy, the adrenaline in these weeks leading up to Halloween is guaranteed. However, there are also stories more rooted in reality, such as The Playlist which reconstructs the invention of Spotify or the Italian All Asks Salvation taken from the novel by Mencarelli. On the Italian series front we also have the second season of Romulus and the new Free Body on Paramount +.

But here is the calendar of the main TV series coming in October:

Munich Games - first season from 5 October on Sky Atlantic and Now

In this original German Sky series created by Michal Aviram (Fauda) and directed by Philipp Kadelbach (We, the boys of the Berlin zoo) tells how what should be a football friendly between Israel and Germany, 50 years after the massacre of the Munich Olympics, turns into a terrorist alert that could to replicate the tragic events of history.

The Bear - first season from 5 October on Disney +

Jeremy Allen White è the protagonist of this new series by Fx, already a phenomenon in the United States, where he plays the famous New York chef Carmy Berzatto who leaves the glories of haute cuisine to take back the family diner after his brother's suicide. A story that brings together the life of deep America and the complication of family relationships.

The Midnight Club - first season from 7 October on Netflix

Comes the Mike Flanagan series (Hill House, Midnight Mass) based on the novels by Christopher Pike. In a facility for terminally ill young people, eight patients gather every night at midnight to tell each other creepy stories and promise that the first of them to die will send the others a sign from beyond.

Babylon Berlin - fourth season from 11 October on Sky Atlantic and Now

Fourth season for Sky's German noir set at end of the Weimar Republic. In the Berlin of 1931 we witness undercover investigations and searches for missing girls in the midst of an increasingly tense social and political situation, with the specter of Nazism ever more rampant.
