The Rimini fair "MIR Tech 2022" is back live

The Rimini fair MIR Tech 2022 is back live

The historic partnership between MIR Tech, the event organized by Italian Exhibition Group dedicated to audio, video, lighting and broadcast technologies and Live You Play, a program that focuses on the live show, has also been renewed for the 2022 edition, which held from 27 to 29 March at the Rimini fair.

This year's Live You Play area will be divided into five souls. Three represent the heart and continuity of a single format: the area with the large motorized stage and continuous performances by a live band, the AMG Broadcast Pavilion and the Live You Sell commercial section. The other two represent absolute new entries from the point of view of audio systems: the world of immersive audio and the 'column contest'.

MIR Tech has always been a strong point, even in 2022 it could not be missing the live show. Live entertainment will be the protagonist thanks to a robotic stage on which mixers, audio systems and moving virtual shows will alternate which will be enhanced during the performances of the Pop Deluxe band.

The Broadcast area is created by AMG, which for the occasion will set up two distinct spaces dedicated to live shows and a TV studio, with the realistic reproduction of a real television direction.

The main feature that has allowed MIR Tech to become one of the reference events for the Light, Sound, Visual, Integrated System & Broadcast supply chain is its strong drive towards technological innovation.

The soundstage area dedicated to immersive audio (or 3D audio for the more experienced) fits into this context, considered the new frontier of audio that allows the listener to be at the center of a synergy of sounds and be wrapped in it, to live an all-encompassing listening experience.

In the course of past editions on Live You Play stages, audio systems have always been used for large concerts. This year it was decided to give companies the opportunity to also exhibit their audio systems suitable for smaller spaces such as clubs, theaters.

The 'Contest Colonne' project was born from this need, dedicated to systems vertical development on stands or columns of different sizes, which will be gathered in a circular space (hall SUD) and will all play at the same distance from the public, with the same audio program to guarantee a fair listening experience.

An unmissable appointment for all broadcast professionals is the one that will feature Roberto Cenci. The director and TV author will tell his story and the steps to build the most successful television programs.

The meeting, entitled "Behind the camera: Roberto Cenci in conversation with Billboard Italia" will be moderated by Tommaso Toma, Director of Billboard Italia magazine. In the year of the resumption of club culture, a tribute to Claudio Coccoluto could not be missing.

During the talk "I do things dance people", Sergio Cerruti, President of AFI - Italian Phonograph Association, Vice President of Confindustria Cultura and President of the Media, Communication and Entertainment Group of Assolombarda will retrace together with Gianmaria Coccoluto and other guests will retrace the 40-year career of the artist who made the Italian nightlife famous abroad as well.

MIR Tech also brings on stage the professionals who work behind the stage. The thematic panel "The stage is a great challenge: Stage Manager @work" is dedicated to them, which will be conducted by Da-mir Ivic, journalist in the field of music and major music events, in which two protagonists of the backstage will participate: Diego Spagnoli , historical Stage Manager of Vasco Rossi, and Luca Biaset-ti, Stage Manager of Kappa Future Festival, the largest dance festival in Italy.

Finally, the conference "Lighting Designer @work" with Giovanni Pinna - author of the light games of the Vasco Rossi event concerts - who will delve into the secrets of his art and demonstrate how a simple audio track can be transformed into an unforgettable light show.
