The new versions of Acer Nitro series laptops adopt new generation hardware, equipping the latest 13th generation Intel Core processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 dedicated GPUs. They are available in 16-inch and 17-inch versions and adopt a thinner and lighter design, along with a higher screen-to-body ratio. Mainly designed for gamers, they also offer more adequate performance in activities involving the production of multimedia content, such as video editing or other.

Acer Nitro 16

The new Nitro 16 offers a 5% larger screen than the previous generation model and is available in two versions with WUXGA or WQXGA resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB color coverage and support for Nvidia Advanced Optimus: a function that allows you to quickly switch from integrated to dedicated graphics, and vice versa. It includes a 13th generation Intel Core i7 CPU, accompanied with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD.



Source: Acer The keyboard has 4-zone customizable RGB backlighting, plus a dedicated NitroSense key that allows you to quickly start the software for controlling brightness, fans and system parameters. The audio sector includes two 2W speakers with DTS:X Ultra , while as regards connectivity there is no shortage of USB Type C Thunderbolt 4, USB Type A 3.2 Gen 1 and HDMI 2.1 ports, as well as a practical micro SD card reader and a Intel Killer Ethernet E2600 integrated network card, with WiFI 6E AX1650i .

Acer Nitro 16 will be available in Italy in May starting at €1,499.

Acer Nitro 17

Acer Nitro 17 equips the most powerful Intel Core-HX processors 13th generation processor, along with up to 32GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and up to 2TB of NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. The large 17.3-inch display, with an 81% screen-to-body ratio, is available in two different configurations: in an FHD version with a refresh rate of 144Hz or 165Hz, or in a QHD resolution at 165Hz. In addition to the keyboard with customizable 4-zone RGB backlighting, there is also a large touchpad with dimensions of 125.0 mm x 81.6 mm.



Source: Acer The presence of two fans , four slots located on the sides and on the back, an air vent positioned at the top, together with a new liquid metal thermal paste, ensure adequate cooling during the highest workloads or the most intense gaming sessions. Of course, there is also the dedicated key to start NitroSense and keep the temperature, fan speed and other parameters of the notebook under control, as well as change the lighting. Nitro 17 has an HD webcam, dual microphones and dual speakers with DTS:X Ultra audio, while connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports with Power Delivery, three USB 3.2 Gen2, one HDMI 2.1 port, and integrated Intel Killer Network Adapter with WiFi 6E.

Acer Nitro 17 (AN17-51) will arrive in Italy from May with a starting price of €1,599.
