The Italian illustrator Massimo Dall'Oglio will publish a manga for Kodansha , precisely for the seinen monthly magazine Monthly Afternoon .

The Italian illustrator Massimo Dall'Oglio will publish a manga for Kodansha< /h2> The news comes directly from the illustrator through his official Instagram page who hasn't held back his emotion in the slightest, declaring that he is honored to create a manga work for the Japanese market and that he is living a real dream.

Dall'Oglio also added that he worked a lot within the construction site of this manga work and that he put a lot of passion into it, in particular through the support of the one who thought it all, Guillaume Dorison.

Massimo Dall'Oglio was born in San Gavino Monreale on March 22, 1973 and at the end of the 90s his career as a comics artist slowly began to take shape.In 1997, in fact, he won the "Pierlambicchi d'oro" in Prato as best young author, but it was only in 2006 which takes place his professional debut with the publication of the four-volume series of "Underskin", written by Andrea Iovinelli and published in France by Les Humanoides Associés and, later, in Italy by Edizioni BD.

Since 2008 works with various Italian publishers: draws two albums of "Jonathan Steele" for Star Comics, based on texts by Federico Memola; two issues of "John Doe" for Eura and Aurea Editoriale; for Edizioni BD he publishes "L'era Dei Titani" (texts by Adriano Barone); collaborates with Panini Comics for the creation of the two mini-series in four volumes of the "Cronache del Mondo Emerso" (inspired by the fantasy novels of Licia Troisi), the first based on texts by Roberto Recchioni and the second by Iovinelli. In 2010 he was a finalist with the story "Hermes", also written by Iovinelli, at the "Morning International Manga Competition" of the Japanese publishing house Kodansha.



Massimo Dall'Oglio In 2013 he drew for Capcom /Glénat the comic prequel of "Lost Planet (The first colony)" , on the occasion of the international release of the third chapter of the videogame of the same name. At the same time, he collaborates as an illustrator and cartoonist with DeAgostini and Wired Italia. He currently draws for Sergio Bonelli Editore, for which he creates part of the fourth issue of Orfani, and is now working on new stories for Agenzia Alfa.
